The BBC World Service will be rolling out more podcasts between now and the end of September amongst various program genres. Some will simply be podcasts of current programs (e.g. Assignment, Business Daily); others will be compilations from existing programs.
One of the new items is called "Global News Podcast" -- it's a half hour of items culled from Newshour, The World Today, and World Briefing.
There are two daily editions -- updated at approximately 0300 UT and 1500 UT. Each runs approximately 30 minutes.
